Hundreds of companies sign onto new statement

The global business sector has turned out in force to support faster action on electrification, with XXX businesses signing onto a new statement released today at London Climate Action Week.

The statement, supported by companies including XXXX, YYYY and ZZZZ, calls on governments around the world to act with urgency and coordination to establish electrification as a central pillar of economic strategy by providing long-term policy certainty to deliver a secure, affordable, and competitive future — enabling companies to fully leverage the Electric Advantage.

The business statement was launched at the Global Energy Transition and Electrification Summit at London Climate Action Week on 23 June, co-hosted by the UK Government, We Mean Business Coalition, Global Renewables Alliance and E3G.
